Surviving the Abyss — это хардкорная игра в жанре выживания и градостроительства (colony builder) с элементами симулятора, разработанная Rocket Flair Studios и изданная Paradox Arc. Краткое описание: Сеттинг: 1976 год, разгар Холодной войны. Игрок управляет глубоководной исследовательской станцией на дне океана. Цель: Совершенствовать и использовать в качестве оружия человеческое клонирование, используя биологические чудеса океана. Геймплей: Нужно управлять ресурсами (кислород, энергия, пища), строить и расширять базу, управлять командой ученых и клонами. Угроза: Необходимо выживать в давящей темноте, так как что-то зловещее таится за пределами освещенной зоны. Свет — единственное, что держит этих "неизвестных ужасов" на расстоянии. Особенности: Сложный менеджмент ресурсов, необходимость постоянно создавать новых клонов из-за их короткой продолжительности жизни, и исследование глубин. Статус: Игра вышла из раннего доступа 5 ноября 2024 года.
